feeling pretty good

tomorrow i will be 7 weeks post-op-----and i am feeling pretty good! my fibro flare seems to be subsiding. i have been able to cut back on the pain meds for it and i just feel generally better in between pain meds. i am surprised at the difference the full 6 weeks made in how i felt. at 5 weeks and 2 days post-op pushing the grocery cart was killing my back. at exactly 6 weeks we had an unexpected 2 night hospital stay with my baby (out of town) and even though my fibro was really bothering me, i had almost no problems from the hyst. if i didn't "know" i had had a hyst, i don't think i would even be able to tell-----except for a little pelvic floor tenderness everything feels the same. i took a walk today and felt good and i vaccumed for the first time. seems like the fibro settled down soon after the last of the surgey after-effects.

I am happy that you feel energetic and comfortable. But please still take it easy. I have a relative that has the same condition and I have seen how she feels after too much activity. You are dealing with more than just an surgerical incision.
