Feeling very emotional! Overwhelmed!

I feel like crying! I just can't find a happy medium. I am in school and have all of this female health issues going on. Today I feel really overweight and then I don't feel good about myself. My computer at home is driving me beserk! Everytime I have a test or something important to work on for school it begins to act up. Now I am at the library at school to do my homework and prepare for my test. My bleeding never goes completely away. I totally feel like a complainer but I just don't know how to get turned around. I feel stressed out a lot latley. Is this normal? Sometimes I just want to lock myself up at home and not come out because it is safe there. Is anyone else going thru this right now? I have a long wait for my surgery date 43 days. I am even counting the days now. I just can't seem to feel peaceful and that is sooooo not very fun.

Feeling very emotional! Overwhelmed!

I wish I could reach out and give you a hug sweety. I know life can be "too much" sometimes. I am a bilateral breast cancer survivor. Now I"m having the surgery to remove more malignant areas. I made the choice to be positive. I look for and find JOY in everyday. I love to giggle especially at myself. I set alot of little goals and try to focus my energy on the NOW.

You were clever enough to seek support. Our bodies are amazing and really do try to heal. I'm sure you will have a great recovery. Just "do the day" for now. Continue to reach out for support from your family, friends and future "hyster-sisters"
Best wishes.. Lori

Feeling very emotional! Overwhelmed!

Hi,
Sorry you are having a bad time of it, I am the same age as you (april) I had my TAH/BSO on 12th September 2005, I was a bit like you, all over the place up until my surgery but now 7 weeks on I am feeling much better and very glad i had the op. Most of my problems were hormone related although I did have a problem with periods (mostly pain) but loosing my overies sorted that problem.
I only waited 3 weeks for my surgery (private) and that was because i went to Spain on holiday...
Take care and if you want to talk at anytime about anything just drop me a message

Feeling very emotional! Overwhelmed!

Thank you ladies for your support. I don't know what I would do without you gals. The day was better for a while then not better. It comes in spurts. I try to quickly get out of the bad moments but I seem to get stuck on an occassion. I am taking hormones and that could have a lot to do with it. Lately I just don't feel like my easygoing down to earth self. I am just going to keep trying my best. It does make it easier knowing that I am not the only one who feels crazy or is going through this stuff. Thanks again!

Hi Cdallas,
I know how you feel. My surgery hasn't even been scheduled yet, but it's all I can think of right now. I keep wondering if I will be different afterwards. We have to be positive though. I keep thinking that I won't hurt anymore, and that in itself is a terrific thought! Hang in there!! I'll be praying for you!!!!!
