pain postop

Any helpful sisters,

I am having a problem with painful intercourse, not lubrication, it is like the vault is too short. The pain is terrible and last for 2 days, can't have BM and bleed (light ) the next day.

The doctor thinks that I am healing but my surgery was December 12, 2000. I have another appt this Thursday. And I am just experiencing this now not earlier.

Has anyother sisters out there gone through this? Anyone have any suggestions? My husband is very patient but anything hurts.

I am nowhere near ready to have sex yet, but have often wondered if what you are mentioning could be a problem. Maybe it needs time to adjust or accommodate to your/your husband's needs? Hopefully it will eventually lengthen. Are you going to ask your doctor about it?

I have heard of other woman having this prob. If they took your cervix you will be alittle shorter, but have also heard that you have to streach out like the first time( you know what i mean) This may take time more time if hubby is a large man. You Need to talk to your dr about this and see if that is what the prob. is and if it is what is the least painfull way to go about it.
