Made It Home..

Well...by the grace of God I made it home from the castle. The endo was so bad that I wasn't able to keep my cervix and both ovaries as I had hoped. I was able to keep just the right ovary and that one had to have cysts removed from it . I hope the cysts don't return! I'm doing a little better today with the pain. Definitely have the swelly belly even though I had the LAVH. Just taking one day at a time. I'm so glad I found this website a couple of weeks before my surgery. The questions I had were answered and I was able to find out some very important information. I still have some light bleeding and am not sure how long that will go on. I'll continue to give updates as the days go on. All the best to the others who have made it safely home also. Many blessings!

Made It Home..

Glad to hear you are home. Many wishes for you and youor thoughout this holiday season. I am two weeks post op, had a TAH due to large fibroid tumor; my bleeding lasted a little over a week. Take it easy, and whatever you do, don't overdo on that first day you feel good...I did, and believe me the setbacks are just as bad as they say :} Again, glad your home from the castle and best wishes for a speedy recovery and wonderful holiday!

Welcome home Diamond1!!

Sounds like you are doing great and I hope it continues that way. I too have a big swelly belly and I was a lap hyst!! I look very pregnant and doubt many pairs of trousers will fir but I am happy to chill in loose fitting elasticated ones for now, I'm not going anywhere after all!!

I haven't really had any bleeding yet and not sure if this is normal or not?! Hope all goes well and look forward to your updates
