right sided pain?

does anybody know if the muscles they cut through are on the right side when doing a bekini line incision because every time i do too much or have any pain its only on the right side never left,its like a pulling bursting tender pain,the nurse told me it was because the surgeon stands to the right when operating and puts all his pressure to the right,any body else,i am worried about hernia happy xmas

I have the exact same thing. Mine is actually getting a little worst now that some of the numbness is subsiding. Hopefully what we are experiencing is NORMAL (whatever normal is). Let me know if you find out otherwise.

I am a little over six weeks post op and get the same pain but on my left side. Hmmmm....

Seeing doctor tomorrow for my final post op, I will ask him then.

Give your doc a quick call to make sure that this is normal.

I am almost six weeks and my pain is on my left side and up a little. Don't know the answer to your question but it seems we all may be experiencing some of what your feeling too. Good Luck on what you find out.

be careful about that i had a lot of pain on just my left side and my doc decided to do a cat scan and found a five centermeter cyst on my left ovary now im going back into surgery on thursday to have the ovary removed so just make sure you go get check or call your doc if he left your ovaries now i wish he hadn't left mine.

Oh Boop....I am sorry....I too have a lot of pain on the right side and none on the left. I only had my right ovary and they took that and also did some bowel work on that side so I figured that was it. My back only hurts on the right side too. Now I am thinking I am more normal than I thought! K
