Back pain and pain in lower left side.

Hi, this is my first post, hope I'm doing this right!

I had a TAH on Dec.20th 2005 and am experiencing a lot of back pain and pain in my lower left side. Has anyone else experienced this, and does it get better?

I had the same problem after surgery. It might have to do with either sitting longer or laying in bed differently?

Anyway, I got a menthol back patch from Walmart. You can put it in the achy spot and it works like a charm!

I've had back pain and pain on both my sides. My dr. didn't seem to be concerned. It does seem to be getting less everyday.
