horriable right sided pain! along with vaginal pain???
wow no offence ladies, but i'm tired of being here!! i'm 5 months post-op from my repairs of a cyctocele and grade 3 rectocele recovery went "ok"... i now feel like everything is falling again, plus for the past 4 days my right side HURTS terraibly!! it feels like pre-op hysterctomy i have endometreosis and i still have my right ovary... i'm wondering if i have a cyst., endo ,adheshions... i am at my wits end with this. i have a appt. on the 31 of jan, i'm wondering if any of you ladies had pain. with your prolaps??? i remember when i prolaps the first time the pain was BAD for a few day then it went away but always felt like everything was falling out?? maybe that's what this is.. but it really feels like i'm going to start my cycle..hummm ? any advice.. also my rectum and vagina HURTS all the time (sorry tmi) but i don't know what the heck to do... i CAN'T EVEN THINK OF ANOTHER SURGERY.. i think if he tells me i prolaps i'm going to loose it!! i would rather it be endo and they can remove it take the ovary and i'll be on my way.. that repair surgery was really bad!! i'm soooo tired and feeling really depressed!!thanks for listening to me whine!!

horriable right sided pain! along with vaginal pain???
 Hi Coffee,
Haven't talked in a while, but no need to ask how you are doing. I'm so sorry...I don't have any advice for you, but I wanted to let you know that I'm still here for you and sending you a great big hug. I, like you, am tired of being here also. New Year's Eve had a HUGE meltdown, I was so tired, hurting really bad and my dr screwed up on my meds so I couldn't even take any more or else I wouldn't make it through the weekend. It was a total pity party and I cried so much my eyes were almost swollen shut. I boycotted anything that had to do with N.Y's cheer.
I'm also sorry that you had such a hard recovery with your last surgery. I was really hoping that was going to be the end of your suffering.
I go to a pain management specialist this week and am just hoping she can at least help me with my meds so that I'm not so tired and hurting all the time. Think I have just been on my current meds too long and my body has gotten use to them.
Anyway just wanted to let you know you are not alone with being at wit's end and still in pain.

horriable right sided pain! along with vaginal pain???
Coffeelover,
Hugs to you - you have been through enough already! I am wondering the same thing my remaining ovary has been giving me fits lately and I am wondering if it's endo or what. I went for an ultrasound about 6 weeks ago and I had a cyst. I am a beginner to endo - but does it grow that fast than a clean ovary in June can be bothering me for the last 4 months (75% of the time)? Yesterday I was in the deep breathing mode for the whole day - I don't know if I want to live with this or live with surgical menopause. Which is worse.
Anyway my pain so far with the new prolapse comes and goes - I don't know what I'd do if it stayed all the time. I am working on my 7th yeast infection in 6 months. Let us know what happens at your appt.

I think frequent yeast infections are just a part of these prolapse surgeries. Be careful that it doesn't develop into anything else. I was treated for numerous infections following my last surgery in June. Now, I've developed something else that the doctor really can't determine. I have pain, raw irritation and a pinching feeling in my vaginal area. It increases with walking and other movement. The uro-gyn has prescribed antidepressants (these help with nerve damage). I've been taking them a week and hopefully this will be the cure. Nothing else has seemed to help. I am on bio-identical hormones too.
