Help, not sure where to turn--vaginal cuff cellulitis

I am feeling so frustrated. I had my TAH BSO on Nov 16. I began having severe vaginal pain Christmas Eve and was diagnosed with vaginal cuff cellulitis. They put me on keflex four times a day. When I wasn't better a week later they added flagyl twice a day. When I saw my doc last week and said I still don't feel any better he said to continue the meds and they should help. By Thursday I was in so much pain I put a call into him and cried the whole day. By the time he called me back I was so upset that Itold him he either needed to tell me what else I can do or send me to someone who can help me. He started me on premarin vaginal cream in the hopes it would soothe things. I am absolutely no better. The pain is awful. Its on the laft side up in the vaginal cuff. Sitting is so painful. I'm really at my wits end and not sure where to turn. I don't know if I should get a 2nd opinion, and even then who to go to . Any advice or suggestions would be great.

I am so sorry you are in such misery. If you are in continued pain with no relief, you need to either call your dr again or visit ER. Best wishes to you.

I am sorry to hear about this, we are one day apart. I have not heard of that condition of the cuff, I have had some pain and issues, but not that one. Is there any other Dr involved in your treatment or by a referral that you could call? Perhaps the Dr that is on call today would be a partner?
I really hope this gets resolved for you very soon.
You are in my thoughts.

I am sorry that you are having all of this pain. It sounds like you might want to consider getting a second opinion if things don't improve soon. I hope that you find the help you need soon.
