Hi A.pitlover05
According To My Dr. The Ovaries And Cervix Are A Part Of Your Uterus. By Removing Just "a Portion Of Your Uterus" Leaving The Cervix And Ovaries, You Are Still Going To Ovulate And Have What My Dr Called "spots" Every Month During Your Normal Cycle. You Should Not Have Any Pain Or Any Amounts Of Blood. Only Spotting. He Said I Would Never Need Tampons Or Pads, Only A Pantyliner.
Just Repeating What My Doc Told Me. Hope This Helps.

If you keep your cervix and ovaries, it is possible to have these "mini-periods" which is basically spotting. It doesn't happen to everyone, but if you notice spotting when you normally would have had your cycle: don't panic. It is likely one of these "mini-periods" but you should let your doctor know if it happens. It won't definitely happen. A lot of times, the top of the cervix is cauterized to remove any remaining endometrial lining that may have been there. If there isn't any endometrial lining on your cervix, you won't have this happen.
