Anxiety?

Hi All...I already love every one of you for all the info and comments and everything I've gotten from this site in the short two days I've been here. I so wish I'd found this months before. However, my surgery is Friday (the 13th...we won't even think about that aspect)...and I'm wondering how you all dealt with anxiety the days before. My doctor has been kind enough to give me a sleeping pill for the night before. I know, I should be greatful for what I have, but I'm so darn anxious.

I know you are nervous and feeling anxious. I did, too! I found that worked pretty well for me, was to stay busy. I cleaned my house and prepared my recovery areas, shopped for groceries and those needed recovery items, paid bills, etc.

Before you know it you will be in the hospital recovering! Don't forget your Granny pants! I stayed on this site alot before my surgery and it helped just venting and then getting the reassurance . Chapstick was an important item also! Lots of prayers and hugs! Cath
