6 Week check today

I go today for 6 week post op check today. Had A TAH, BSO, and BBS done. Still get sore after i have been up and moving alot. Get this funny annoying feeling in the vagina sometimes wandering if that is normal. This web site has been wonderful for me, it has been nice to know that i am not alone in the way that i feel. Friend of mine told me the other day that when she had a c section that she got over it quick and that I should be feeling better by now and be back to normal. I keep telling myself that this is a little more than a c section.

You are so right....a c-section is nothing like the more extensive work you had done.....the 2 cannot be compared, except for the appearance of the outer incision (I think that's why so many try to compare the 2.....because the doc makes the same cut to go in..........then, that's where the similarities end!).

Don't worry what your friend said. I had 2 c's myself, so I can honestly say that what we went through is far more challenging than c/s.
Don't waste your energy on those comments, sometimes people open their mouths not thinking if it's appropriate or the right thing to say .
