need advice from endo sufferers!!!

Okay this is driving me nuts!!! I had 3 cysts removed last august on my ovaries. The center of them were endometrium. Am I wrong thinking that my ovaries are to blame there. I dont see my doc til the 24th--and I am going to ask him about this. Wouldnt leaving my ovaries only cause this to happen again or one of them burst and it spread???? HELP!!!
I am so young (27) so keeping my ovaries would be in my favor but I want to make sure I make the best decision possible for me! Thanks- Mindy

Hi MIndy,

I don`t know the answer but I have some endo links that might help you. I see your surgery is for adeno so I will give you some links for that, too.

I hope some of these help you find the info you need.
I know how you feel about keeping your ovaries. That is a big decision. I dropped the bottom link for you regarding ovary preservation.

I will see if I can get the resident endo specialist to drop in. Adrite may be able to help answer your questions better than I can.

Hi Mindy...

They really don't know what causes endometriosis, but they do know that it's not healthy organs that cause the problem. When making this decision, make sure that you know what the repurcussions will be. As with every action, there is reaction and the body is no different. What you must do is weigh your options and you do have many...Kaatie listed alot of sights below loaded with info, here's one more:

I can speak from experience that if you don't have a skilled surgeon who can remove the endo and all remaining tissue that nothing is gained by having a complete hysterectomy.
