Questions for anyone with rectocele repair

i can't seem to feel anything! mine just feels normal. now, i had a cystocele and tvt and it feels like i have been scratched deep inside.

Hi everyone, I had a tvh w/ rectocele repair. When I came out of recovery I was in a tremendous amount of pain, then I got a morphine pump and all was well. Came home on vicodin and ibuprofen. Took the vicodin every 4 hours for 1st week postop along with the ibuprofen 3 times a day. I am not taking the Vicodin any more but still take the ibuprofen. Had first bowel movement 4 days post op. It was excruciatingly painful. I had been taking stool softeners since day after surgery. Day 5 had another bm and it was just as bad. Called my doc and they recommended Milk of Magnesium. Took max dose 4 tbs (too much) had a "normal" bm in the am and then diarrhea all day for rest of day. Since then I have not needed a stool softener and have had normal bm's every day. I am still sore at the bottom of my vaginal opening, not sure what that's about. Mostly I am bored out of my mind and having difficulty relaxing and just doing nothing. I am not in any pain for the most part. Having concerns about having sex for the first time post op.

Hi, my first time here, I had tvh with rectocele repair 3wks ago and having some diff having bm. first one was very painful and took 4 hrs. episiotomy is sore and hurts to sit. I am using stool softner, benefiber, prunes, hate prune juice!! fiber cereal, etc. Relief to know this is pretty normal. Thanks

Constipation is my biggest concern. I am taking 3 Colace,1 lax, mineral oil, cranberry juice, water etc...I'm still having painfull BMs. I don't have any bleeding or pain after. Would there be any symptoms is something did come loose?

I had TVH and 4th degree rectocele repair almost 4 weeks ago. One tablespoon a day of Calcium Magnesium Citrate seems to work great for me as a stool softener.
Thankfully the pain hasn't been too bad, just a deep achiness sometimes.
