At the 3 month post.hyst. have ovaries....i'm so emotional!!

Hi Everyone,
I am at the three month mark. I still have my ovaries.
But..i'm finding i'm so emotional and get so upset about some things. I feel like i'm driving my husband crazy.
We are both under a lot of stress. We are getting the house ready to sell in 2 months...that's really stressing my husband out...comes home exhausted from work..paints and repairs...i'm emotional. We go through a whole day where i try to stay away from him because i think i'm driving him nuts. He says he is stressed and he's to blame....LOL....i had the hyst. and he is being transferred to another town..moving...going back to work in a few weeks...everything just seems to be driving me nuts. And he apologises to me. I think we are both stressed. I think my ovaries are really messed up. SHOCKED??
I'm crying and typing and i hope i'm making sense. We really love each other and we have been married for 29 years....but sometimes i don't know how he can stand me.
Peace Lily

Have you talked to your dr? Maybe he can help give you something to relax you till all this that you are dealing with calms down.

I find exercise works to help me calm down. I am not sure how it works ,but it works out the stress and emotions. My moods and sleep are better when I exert myself.

The other thing that has helped to calm me, is the herbal supplement St. John's Wort works like an anti-depressant but much weaker and less side effects. I would start with a little and see how you do. Kava Kava is another supplement to try.

You cannot take these if you are already on persciption anti-depressants. Check with dr if taking any meds, and read and research the herbs before trying them.

Here is the link on supplements, and St. John's Wort is the one I pulled up first, you can check other herbs on the site:

Do not mix Kava Kava and St. John's Wort. You would just take one or the other.

I have found this to work for me when I am anxious.

I hope this helps you some.

Hi...thank you for the ideas. I have noticed the last few days that i'm getting some of the same symptoms that i get before i got my period.
Sore breasts...even more emotional than i was a few days ago. Which herb do you think works better? St. John's or Kava Kava? Or do they affect everyone different. I'm not on anti depressants. I do take Vitex and B Complex and Red Siberian Ginseng. I think the other thing that is getting me upset is that my hair is still falling out. It's bothering me. Maybe i should stop having baths, so i don't see the hair at the bottom of the tub!! I should switch to showers. I will try one of the herbs. And i have to get myself to start exerciseing more.
I do walk. But not all the time.. Time to start making myself!!
Thanks so much
Take care
Debbie
