Greetings!

Ihad my surgery on October 24, 2005. I am doing very well. I have a little tenderness near the incision site and I feel a slight discomfort sometimes when I urinate. Otherwise I am doing well. What about yourself?

Another October sister here and I'm doing great. January is my busiest month at work and I tackled it with a renewed sense of energy. I don't know where it came from other than taking good care of myself for 6 weeks and having lost 15 pounds since surgery. No more back pain and not having to pee constantly helps too!

My recovery was uneventful and quick. The surgery was the best thing I ever did as I feel SO much better (and didn't really know I didn't feel fine before, since the football sized fibroid was detected during a routine exam and I didn't know it was there). Sex is great, energy levels are great, and I have no pain whatsoever.

I realize how fortunate I have been throughout this process and feel for anyone having difficulties and pain. My thoughts are with them and with all my fellow October "sisters".

Hi, I had mine on Oct 24th. All is well. Started back to work 2 weeks after surgery, and that is going well. I was having really bad hot flashes so my dr decided to try me on a low dose of estrogen...that made them 100 times worse, so I went off of that. My bladder isn't at all the same as it was before surgery, but it's getting better. Other than not sleeping from hot flashes and hip pain, my life is much better since the operation.
