34 and struggling

I am 36 and like you found out quite suddenly that I needed a total hysterectomy. We don't have any children. After 11 years the baby-bug just hasn't bit yet. So after much soul searching and discussions with my husband I decided to do it. I had mine on 17 October and don't regret it. I am on hormones and things are pretty good there. I knew that with my fibroids, endometriosis and adhesions, pregnancy would have been difficult and risky. I have come to terms with the situation. I believe all things happen for a reason. So I shall move forward from here, pain free and period free!!! I wish you the best. I know how difficult this time can be for you. Look at the positives. I know that is easier said than done. But I have cried my tears and have learned to look forward, not back. Hang in there. Your days will be brighter soon!
