hernia?

I have been feeling some discomfort around my naval right above my vertical incision.. I asked the doctor about a possible hernia but he said he didnt feel anything.. I am glad that he said that, but how would i know if a hernia is developing.

Most folks are aware of a hernia when they see a bulge, especially when coughing.

You are so early in your recovery, and will be feeling all kinds of zaps and zingers. Nevertheless, it never hurts to run these things past your doc.
