Another sister back from Hospital

Hello everyone,

I made it home last night at 6pm. The surgery went great. The Doc took out a fibroid the size of a large orange along with uterus and cervix,and removed right ovary. He left the left ovary. Have patch for hormones. Pain not much at all, some gas pain and I am walking that off. Sleeping for about 3 hours at a time. Going back to bed now getting tired, will email more later.

Hi all !! I am home too. Had my surgery Feb 8th. Went home the night of the 9th. (lastnight) Amazing that they can send you home so quickly. I am sleeping alot. I was left alone here for a bit and the doorbell rang. I looked out the window and saw flowers!!! Well I went down the stairs a bit too quickly to answer the door, and now I am paying for it. I truly did not even think. But the flowers are beautiful.
I feel ok, I am on pain meds. I have passed gas but no BM yet. Belly is very swollen and painful. I had a LAVH. They left my "left" ovary. Keep in touch ladies!! Going for my nap.

Hello again,

Now that my head is a little more clear, I did have a small complication after surgery they gave me Torodol pain med and we found out very quickly that I am alergic to it. I itch so badly I cried. Now I am doing okay, my face had the worst effects of meds it swelled up and peeled. Any way today I feel more muscel pain and I have had three bm's one at hospital and two at home with a little help.

I am doing better than I thought I would, well thank you for all your thoughts, going back to bed.
