Estroven supplement

Anyone tried Estroven or something similar? Did anyone (like me ) get the runs from taking it? I am so tired of sitting on the pot.

(((KaiRobin))) I notice your surgery date was only a week ago. Diarrhea during the first week or two post op is not unusual, and often it's caused by the disruption in our intestinal flora caused by bowel preps, enemas, antibiotics etc.. I have not tried Estroven, but looking at the ingredients, I don't see anything that's especially prone to causing diarrhea

Have you tried eating yogurt daily for a while, to replace the 'good' bacteria in your GI tract? Often that helps. And, if the problem continues, do talk with your DR -- continuing diarrhea can dehydrate you.

Estroven supplement

I HAVE been eating yogurt daily, thanks for the tip! It makes my tummy feel better because it is smooth. Of course, I admit to a McDonald's breakfast yesterday! LOL. I didn't know it was normal, so will persevere with the Estroven as I think it worked already (supposed to take a couple weeks usually) as last night's sweats were not as severe.

Estroven supplement

Hi

I have taken Estroven before, and never experienced what you are describing. Maybe it was something you ate, or a intestinal "bug "you caught.

I hope you feel better soon. I would eat things that are more on the constipating side like toast, and things gentle on the system and see how you do. This type of diet has helped when I have had intestinal problems.

If things don't get better then you want to see your dr.

Estroven supplement

I think that it's working. I have very few hot flashes and no mood swings. I'm also taking Vitamin E, Evening Prim Rose Oil and Flaxseed Oil. I believe a combination of these things are helping.
