cyst???

I have one ovary and last month i had sharp little twinges during i guess either ovulation or what would have been a period. this morning i have started aching on my left side where the ovary is, not hurting but just a dull ache and pressure. kinda feels like gas but i do not have any. before my hyst the cysts i had on my right ovary actually hurt like a pulled muscle or a very sharp jab that would double me over. i haven't had that with this. could this be another cyst??? and would the dr do anything or just let it go. i know if it gets severe to call her but does taking ibuprophen help "shrink" it, since it is an antiinflammatory? I am guessing that this would be the week i would have a period. it has been so long that i have no idea. it isn't like period cramps though. thanks for advice

I get a feeling like that sometimes when I have streached alot or done alot of physical activity. Hopefully yours is something that simple. However, if it continues or gets worse, I would call your Dr. just to be sure.
