Sore Breasts
If you have sore breasts, it means your ovaries are working and they may fluctuate from highs to lows with the hormones they are producing.
I don't know if you exercise or not, but I find exercise to help with hormone balance . I also found cutting out caffiene helped as well.
I remember before my surgery and ovary removal that my breasts would get sore. It seemed to be a sign of high estrogen at the time. The ovaries will do that as they struggle to find balance, up and down.
I think during the first year after your hyst the ovaries are trying to adjust, as it is a shock for them with no uterus and no cycles any longer. It is hard to just suddenly have that no longer going on.
Hang in there, hopefully you will feel better soon.

Sore Breasts
It's interesting that you stated you had sore breast for two weeks, usually about 1 week before my period wouid come I would also have sore breast. I am just about 8 weeks post op, (TAH) and last night I went on a eating binge while also craving chocolate. This felt so strange to me since I knew I would no longer be getting my period, but after talking to my doctor today she explained I would continue to still experience these PMS signs, since I still have my ovaries.

Sore Breasts
(((abbyh))), sore breasts are often a sign of estrogen dominance. Estrogen dominance means too much estrogen relative to progesterone and testosterone, not necessarily too much estrogen in absolute terms. It's often one of the first signs of perimenopause. Other symptoms might include night sweats, hot flashes, mood swings, loss of sex drive, insomnia, urinary frequency, and brain fog .
If your only symptom is the breast soreness, many women find relief using a little bit of natural progesterone cream (available either OTC or by prescription from a compounding pharmacy) directly on the breasts. It's best used at night, because progesterone can also help with insomnia. I use this myself, and found out about it by reading Dr. Lee's book, "What Your Doctor Might Not Tell You About Breast Cancer".
I hope this helps!
 s,
-Linda
