It Is REALLY Real Now!!

I am happy (I think!) to tell everyone my surgery is now scheduled for March 13th! I even remembered to edit my profile this morning. I am choosing to have a positive attitude with this! My new ob/gyn is the greatest and I feel so lucky to have her. It seems a little like fate...she just started in our town three weeks ago. It seems so weird to actually see that date and know it is for real!!
I have a couple of questions (?) if anyone can help...
1) Surgical menopause??
2) What did you pack? Anything you wished you would have brought or not brought?
This site has really given me the strength to seek out a new doctor and to stand up for myself and now it is a reality. I thank everyone here SO much!

Good for you! You're actually 1 day before me. You got a date fast! I got mine on January 5 to go on March 14! What to take to the hospital? There is a thread going on right now with lots of suggestions, I'm sure you will find the list quite complete. Good luck, hugs....Frenchie
