Fluid Pocket??

Has anyone experienced a fluid pocket? I posted a question earlier in the week about my confusion as to what was going on with me. I am 4 months post op.

I made it to the Dr. on Friday. Immediately during internal exam she felt a fluid pocket. She said it is sitting on top of my vagina to the right side. Explains all my symptoms. I am having an ultrasound early next week to determine size, fluid type and what we will do next. She explained the draining procedure if I have to have that.

I'm curious what others have experienced???

Fluid Pocket??

Sorry to hear about your troubles, CeCeRose!

I, too, have a fluid pocket. Mine is on the right side and about 4.5 x 3.5 cm. I had a transvaginal ultrasound and my doctor told me that it looks like it could be a cyst. It's in the spot where my right ovary used to be, I sure hope it's not another cyst!! Or it could be fluid that the never absorbed into my body. My doc said that happens occassionally but I get another ultrasound in a month to see if things have changed?

What was the draining procedure your doc told you of? I wonder if I need one?

Fluid Pocket??

The draining procedure is something that a special radiologist does. She will determine this week what we will do.

I am pretty uncomfortable. The pain at the end of emptying my bladder had gone away. Now it is back. I'm having issues with sex again. I'm not excited about having anything drained or anything else done to me, but I don't like hurting again either.

So you have to wait a month? I am not happy about that option.
