Wind pain!

Sorry to hear you're getting pain.

The only pain sensors we have in the bowel are those for stretching. It is a fascinating fact that your bowel could be cut or burned, and you would not experience pain. But, if stretched...depending on the degree..........you could be in agony.

If you have pain every time you pass wind, it is quite posible that your bowel is adhered to something and gets stretched a little, every time that air flies through. I have the same situation, and have been told that I probably do have some adhesions, with this symptom being my only side effect. For some reason, the movement of stool does not bother me....maybe because it is slower? At any rate, I've learned to stay away from foods that cause me a lot of gas, including carbonated beverages.

Hope this helps. Take care.................s..Deb
