What part of Texas....?

San Antonio...but I'm a transplant. Only been here for 8 months.

I live in the hill country, Fredericksburg! It's about and hour from San Antonio and an hour and a half or so from Austin.

I LOVE Fredericksburg! My DH and I visit there as often as we can. We like to stay at The Peachtree Inn. Then we visit the local and nearby wineries and vineyards.The hill country is soooo beautiful

Yeah, it's pretty cool here. LOTS of tourists this time of year! If only they'd use the cross walks! lol I think that the Peach Tree Inn was sold. I know that the family businesses, like the store and restaraunts were up for sale, I'm not sure though. I guess the family is ready to move on.

I live in Lufkin, Texas, which is about 100 miles north of Houston. We are considered deep East Texas!

This is a fun thread! So, anyone from Seagraves? That's where my mom was born, although she grew up in Groom.

I'm not from Seagraves, I have been there. When I was in high school we would play Seagraves during football season. I was born in Hobbs, NM which isn't that far from Seagraves. I have been to Fredricksburg and bought fresh peaches. This is a fascinating thread. Carol
