Sick Today....

i am 5 days post op and for the first time i am feeling very sick to my stomach today. not a lot of actual pain, just a lot of nausea and some vomiting. Could it just be the meds piling up? I am having BM issues too, could that also be attributing? No fever and haven't been around anyone with stomach bugs...is this normal?

Sick Today....

Hello, If I were you I would call your doctor. Not sure, but throwing up with stiches and incisions don't really sound good!!! It does sound like your Med's. I would really call your Doc. For BM'S eat alot of fiber, like flavored oatmeal, applesauce, cheerios ect... That may also help.

Sick Today....

Definitely call your doctor, nausea was one of the signs I was told to call in about. Vomitting defnitely does not sound like something I'd want to go through this soon after surgery.

Sick Today....

i would call the doctor too. Vomiting is something I definitly would not want to do with an incision. Sneezing and coughing were bad enough!

Sick Today....

I am glad to hear that you called your Dr. Just the way you described your symtoms you had me a little worried. Now all you need to do is rest eat more fiberous foods and listen to what your doc tells you, also drink a lot of liquids that also helps. Take care of yourself, rest!!!
