TVH 2/6...Post-Op appt. today

Had first check-up today and everything is great!!! I don't have to go back and see her for a year when I am due for pap. She wrote out a work release and I can return March 6 which will be 4 weeks from surgery. She said the path report was good, she did internal exam (which hurt a little) and said healing good and stitches looked good. I can slowly start doing more and at my 4 week mark I can begin exercising, sex, etc. Just take it a little at a time and gradually work into normal routine. I am soooo excited to get back to normal!!!!! Those of you with a TVH in the future.....this has been an easy surgery and recovery. You have nothing to be scared of!!! Just take care of yourself and everything will be fine. Thanks so much for this website and all the great information and support. It definitely helped me through the experience and kept me company. Now I can concentrate more on my wedding coming in May!!!!!
