one more adno. question

Hi,

I'm wondering how fast adno progresses. There really isn't that much info. out there. Some medical books don't even mention it. Can I assume that it will get progressively worse quickly or is it slower to worsen? It's gotten bad in the past year and I'm wondering what the future holds with this disease.

I'm amazed at how much I bleed on just .75 Vivelle patch. I bleed more now when I was a 20 year old producing more estrogen.

Any adno experiences will be appreciated. I've lived with endo for over 20 years, but I was just diagnosed with adno.

Here is the link to our resources about adeno and endo: http://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/lin...o=browse&cid=6. You may find a lot of helpful information there. I hope you find the answers to your questions!

one more adno. question

My bleeding & clotting was very bad for well over a year before it totally took off on me, causing humiliating public flooding accidents. I had both adeno and submucosal fibroids though, so mine may have been a combo effect.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

s to you,
Beth

one more adno. question

Hi Beth,

Thanks for your reply and for sharing your experience. I'm still learning about adno. I know a lot more about endo after living with it for over 20 years.

I have fibroids too. My bleeding has become so irregular and much more heavy, clotty too, only in the past year. So, I'm wondering if it will continue on this path.

I'm keeping a calendar, so I can record my symptoms to be able to look back at them objectively. Sometimes after my terrible periods are over for the month, I forget how bad they were. I think this will help me with my hyst. decision.

Thanks again!

A calendar is a good idea. Helpful for both you and your GYN to see what's happening. Sometimes we think we'll remember from one month to the next, but that's rarely the case; ~~Or at least it wasn't with me and my memory. :marble:

Good luck with your decisions and your journey toward better health.

s again
Beth
