How long was your stay??

How long was your stay at the hospital (or is it the Castle) Did you have every much bleeding afterwards?

I spent 2 nights, went home on the third morning, Did not bleed a drop till 3 weeks post op. (TAH kept ovaries)

Two nights, home the third day. Had a mid afternoon TAH surgery, was rousted up at 1am to sit up for a bit and was walking the first morning. Very minor spotting the first morning and nothing since. Just had my two week check up.

Two nights. Very minor spotting immediately after surgery, none since.

I spent 7 nights in hospital and left in the evening of the 8th day! The original plan was for me to stay 3-5 days, but on day 5 needed another surgery to repair a ureter, so stayed a few more days after that. No bleeding, spotting or discharge since day 1!

This is a great qustion! I am going in March 28. My doc said 3 days min. but if they have to remove my ovaries abdominally, could be up to 7 days! I have a lot of scar tissue from keloids and previous surgeries..so I am thinking it is going to be longer than 3 days.

Went in for 7:30 am surgery on Wed came home on Sat morning about 10ish.....

went in Feb 20th and came home Feb 24th mid-morning.

I stayed 3 nights and have minimal bleeding for about 2 weeks.

I just got home yesterday (Thursday) and went in on Monday am for surgery. Just a few drops of blood first day.
