Looking for someone that has had similar symptoms

I had posted before because I had bilateral complex ovarian cysts that sent me to a gyn/onc. I had been scheduled for TAH/LSO but it was cancelled when an u/s showed the cysts resolving(after watching them for 6 months). My reg gyn did a lap to look at my ovaries but found nothing and he has had some personal issues so my f/u appoinment has been moved 3 times now. MY question now is:Has anyone had a gush of watery fluid come from your vaginal area and have a persitent discharge all the time? I have been tested for bacterial vaginosis, yeast, and (of all things) STDs and all are negative. On top of this, my periods are increasingly heavy and painful, much like when I had my miscarriages ( the pressure, cramping bleeding and size of clots). They are starting earlier with spotting into heavy bleeding with clotting(TMI) and lasting several days longer. Has anyone ever had these issues? I had CIN II-III several years ago but my paps have been normal since. Thank you in advance for helping try to solve this mystery!! Everyone here has been an

Symptoms

xrayu

I had gushing water when I developed peritonitis - following my TAH/LSO. The pain was unbearable.

In reference to the discharge you mentioned, did you have the discharge before your surgery or only after?

With your symptoms, I wouldn't wait to see your doctor. It sounds like some kind of infection. (By the way - I am not a medical professional!!!)

Prior to my TAH, I also had heavy painful bleeding. I had several D&Cs, but I also knew I had endo.

I hope you get your problems resolved. I hate not knowing what's wrong!

Looking for someone that has had similar symptoms

I have hadthis since Dec(which was before my lap). He has looked everywhere except for inside my uterus but I hate to have to go thru another surgical procedure, especially if this is a normal occurrence. I have an appt for Monday and I hope he will have some answers. It is frustrating because they first said ?ovca, then endometriosis(negative), and now this is where I am. My periods have become heavier since this time last year but it is getting worse. We started searching for answers in August. I have had 6 u/s, BE, IVP, a pile of blood work and a diag laparoscopy. I, too, am looking for answers. Thank you for you reply.

I'd want an endometrial biopsy and ultrasound. Your symptoms sound like my symptoms when I had endometrial adenocarcinoma. I never had a "gush" of fluid, except for blood. Lots of watery and/or pink discharge, constantly. Lots of clots, bleeding.

Something's up, and I'd make sure someone looked everywhere. It may be something easy to fix.

I agree with LA41950. I never had the gush of fluid but your other symptoms, ie heavy and painful periods that are lasting longer plus the clots and watery discharge sound just like I had when I was diagnosed with endometrial pre-cancer.

I really think you need to be having an ultrasound and endometrial biopsy to see what is going on. These symptoms ARE NOT normal and should not be ignored. I'm not trying to frighten you at all, but you really need to get to the bottom of this without delay.

I agree with Geraldine. You should get this checked out. I was having heavy bleeding with clots and a watery discharge, alot of pain, getting biopsy's, had a D&C, cysts on my ovaries which were being monitored, and I still ended up with ovarian and uterine cancer. Luckily, it was a Stage 1C, buy why did it have to come to that with all the monitoring that was going on. I don't mean to scare you, but your life is important and you are in charge of it. Get a second opinion if you have to! All my best thoughts and

Count me in too. My biggest symptom of cervical cancer was the watery discharge. I would wake up in the morning with a big wet spot on my panties and pj's. During the day it got so bad that I wore panty liners all the time because I never knew when the leak, or gush, would happen. It had no odor and no spotting, until months later. Because my pap smears had always been negative, the doctors kept saying 'it CAN'T be cancer'. Yeh. Right. I had blood tests, numerous ultrasounds, internal exams by 3 different gyns. They all thought I had a fibroid that would need to come out. I started VERY heavy bleeding with clots, scared me to death. My gyn didn't know what it was but he insisted that I see a gyn/onc,
'just to be sure'. The gyn/onc took one look and diagnosed cervical cancer.

I do not want to scare you either, but if I were you, I'd make an appointment with a gyn/onc for a second opinion. It can't hurt and it might reassure you.

Hugs,
janie

Thank you all for your replies. I saw a gyn/onc when my cysts looked so scary. I guess the focus was on that and not so much the other symptoms. My discharge and bleeding has gotten worse eventhough my cysts are gone. The gyn/onc sent me back to my reg gyn to do a a diag lap. my reg gyn (at appt before my finding nothing on my lap) said he was not conerned about the bleeding as if it was a natural occurrence. The tune may be different now that the laparscopic procedure was negative. He told my husband that the good news was that he didn't find anything and the bad news was he didn't find anything. I have had u/s that showed endometrial thickening but because I am 31, they kind of dismiss it as being normal, which it may be. Again, thank you ladies. I feel better knowing at least I have some reason to continue beating my head against the wall to find an answer.

Geraldine -
Hi - I was wondering if you had to do any chemo treatments for your hyperplasia, or is that treated only with removal of the organs. Thanks!
