Good Morning Everyone! I can't believe I'm first today.
We were so busy over the weekend. Putting up shelves in the basement, shopping for that perfect wall hanging for above the new couch, and planning what we are doing with the new organization in our house. We've found a nook under the stairs in the basement that has just always been stuffed full of storage. Mostly decorations. Well..all of that stuff is coming out and going on new shelving, and we're going to put a wine cellar there. We've always wanted one. So why we were out yesterday shopping, we bought 2 cases of wine from some local wineries. Of course we had to taste first, so it was a lot of fun.
Food over the weekend wasn't too bad, but not completely OP. I really need to get my head back into this. But I'm not going to fool myself this week. Tomorrow is our 26th anniversary, so dinner will be out. I'll try to be mindful, but that usually doesn't work as well when we're celebrating. And we're having a big corned beef and cabbage dinner on St. Patty's day. I'm making it for the first time, but I'm confident with my recipe. But I'll be full of water weight next weekend I know.
I'll get to Curves for sure 3 times this week. (We get a free t-shirt for bring in food and working out 3 times a week all month. Just entice me with something free and I'm there. ). And I'll walk for sure. We're losing our nice spring weather again for awhile. Looks like the 30's are here to stay for the next couple of weeks. But this is Michigan, it's suppose to still be cool. It just teases us from time to time with 60 degree weekends.
Have a BEST OP day everyone! Idol is only 30 minutes this coming Wednesday and not until 9:00..so I'm planning on being in the Chat room. My note is hanging on my computer monitor now. Maybe we can actually get a group of us in for a change.

Hi everyone! Hi {{{{{Nancy}}}! I hope everyone had a nice OP weekend. Ours was busy of course and I got my first look at Atlantic City. It was fun but I don't see the allure of gambling unless you win big. I am glad it is something I could do without. If I am spending money, I want to actually bring some thing home with me. I was fairly OP except for that piece of choc. cake I had to have at one of the Casino's deli's. I know I walked it off so not too bad for me. Today is and a walk later on. Tonight I am going to a concert at the local high school with a new friend I made whan I joined the Booster Club. Speaking of that, our team lost on Sat. so we are done for the season. Oh well, the NCAA's start on Thursday Need to fill my water bottle.............
Melissa, I waved at you as I passed by the exit for Mays Landing.

Hello, wow we are light these past few days. Hope everyone will join in again soon. Glad the weekend is over there are always too many tempting choices! We have had Mexican 2 x's in the last few days. Meal wise I pretty much always eat the same thing, some kind of chicken quesadilla with mushrooms. It's probably not to bad, but its those chips that are the killers. Sometimes they are to hard to resist. Food last night at Life Group wasnt too bad. But it's back to serious point counting today!! Weigh in will be tomorrow, Tues night always seems to come around quickly. My DH continues to tell me to quit worrying about the scales. My clothes are really big. I'm buying new things here and there. I've taken many bags of clothes to the Goodwill. I wore a pair of pants yesterday to church that I got at Target that were really a deal. I was excited because they are a 20. Most of my pants through the years have been 24-26. So I guess that's a plus! I need to keep the right perspective, but it's hard. I want the scales to reflect what the inches do, but it doesnt seem to work that way. People keep saying it's the working out, you are gaining muscle? I asked someone the other day, how long that excuse hold up? I've been working out for 3 years? Enough on that, probably !!!!
B uffed wheat cereal w/skim milk L:leftover chicken quesadilla D:something w/ground chuck.
I will check in later, I'm cleaning out somethings and I need to jump to it. sharon :

Sharon, I can relate to exactly what you are saying. I had a similar experience today........I bought a shirt back in early winter. When I came home and tried it on, it was a wee bit tight so I never wore it. Today I pulled it out of my closet and it fits!!!!!!!!!!! So I did not lose any pounds but I must have done soemthing right in the past 4 months for this blouse to now fit me comfortably. Myabe your DH is right and his words will help us all!
Emily s for you!

Hi Everyone
It is getting windy and promises to be a stormy afternoon. Back to winter for us too Nancy. But, it is March and thin is what we expect. Beautiful and 70 today, snowshowers tomorrow.
I started out OP today, I decided to go on the Curves diet to get my weight loss back on track so 1 egg and 2 slices of bacon, then I was making cut out shamrock cookies for the dinner I am serving at tonight and ate some dough. But, I am taking that as my snack and now I will have a salad for lunch. Normally I would have said oh the heck with it I messed up so I would have eaten anyway. A minute of cookie dough does NOT a diet ruin! Now I am going to decorate them and pack them in a box for the dinner, I also made two green jello salads for tonight.
I am going to go and get the cookies done and maybe take Gertie for another walk before it gets stormy and rainy. Have a great day all.

After I posted I read through my post and it said "This is March and "thin" is what we expect" Do you suppose that is some kind of a message I was sending to myself ? I meant to say this. Oh well you get my drift. to you all.

Good evening ladies,
Today started out good with natural FF yoghurt for breakfast and then I headed off for physio. She will see me once more and then I'll be signed off because none of her treatments aren't working to any benefit for me. I don't quite know where that will lead me now as my gp reckoned the pain management clinic and phycho-analysis are the next he can offer me to help me accept that my back trouble is osteoarthritis. Looks like it's more important than ever now to keep this journal and I'll just wait and see what happens.
I've done a fair amount of today even if most has been around shops. My prescription wasn't ready so had time to kill. Lunch went out the window because of the waiting, though I had a snack of dried apricots and dinner has been a roast and I'll be having fresh fruit for dessert shortly.
The mint tea was really refreshing and I shall be drinking more of this instead of just cold water. Winter has dug it's heels in again across parts of UK with snow and though it has missed me so far, it's getting icy cold so looks like the bit of gardening I'd planned to get done this week will have to wait too :sigh:. Mind you, I've seen the first few of the Canada geese here today so spring can't be that far off !
Ds wants pc soon so will try and pop back in later.

Hi BEST
Today was a bit of a tough day: It's been raining and very, very damp and it's still winter.... soooo.... my allergies are flairing and so is my "arthritic pain". And I'm sooooo tired (probably linked to the allergies and pains <sigh>). So it was hard getting through today... but I did it
I did go to Curves for a nice workout and, even though it was tough, I did feel good about it. Last night, I took that out for a long walk: He was being very demanding and foolish, bringing all kinds of s to play with. So I decided to tire him out: kept going until he stopped straining on the lead He got home at 8 and went straight to sleep and only woke this morning ... and I got a nice work out out of it!!!
Food was so-so today: mostly OP except for the chips I indulged in tonight.... Tomorrow is going to be a totally, totally OP day, scout's promise!!!
Well, it's time to call it a day Hope everyone is very OP and very active as the weather warms up.
