Progest- Mend

Hello ladies, I was just wondering if anyone has used a product calles Progesto- Mend. My Naturopath Dr. wants to start me on it to balance my progesterone with my estrogen. I tried a bioidentical progesterone cream made up by my compound pharmacy, several months ago, but could not tolerate it (depression, sap libido, irritable, ect. )
A reputable company ( DOUGLAS LABS ) makes this product, however it is made with a cocktail of herbs, that I don't know much about.
If anyone has used this product could you share your experiences? Thank- you

Progest- Mend

The problem with maybe taking something with a whole lot of herbs in it is, if you have a problem or a side effect, you won't know which herb it is, and will have to discontinue.
Inmho, it is better to take herbs separately and add them one at a time to see how one does on it.

I have the same problem with progesterone cream, but I have heard that pellets placed under the tongue twice a day and gradually increased in dosage may avoid this problem. It seems a lot of us get too much in the blood stream too fast for the cream application.

I also noticed I could use the cream successfully prior to my hyst and after I cannot. It must have a lot to do with not having a uterus or ovaries with many of us.

Maybe someone will come along that has used this product and will have some input on it's use.
