Prayer request for one of my students

Hi Ladies,

I teach in a community college, and was contacted by one of my students last night. She just found out that she has uterine cancer. (She's 38 years old.) I'm not sure of all the specifics or what her treatment options will be (I'm sure a hysterectomy will be involved.) I refered her to the Cancer Concerns board here, and I told her that I'd be keeping her in my prayers.

Would you ladies also be praying for her? Her name is Denise.

Father God, we lift up Denise to you, put your tender loving arms around her, comfort her heart, reassure her that you are with her, calm her fears, ease her stress, she needs you to walk this journey with her, we are asking that you give Denise courage, strength and your understanding through this emotional time, when she is a little weary ,hold her up , keep her strong ,go with her to her upcoming appointments, give the doctor the wisdom and knowledge to come up with the right course of treatment, let the medical needs of Denise be discussed in detail, help her, the doctor to communicate and make decisions together. Let your will be done, in your gracious name, Amen.

Hi Lisa! I pray that the Lord guides Denise's doctors resulting in a very successful surgery. I also pray that the Lord will grant His healing touch to Denise for a complete recovery.
