What Wall?

The three week wall I missed. But will there be one at five weeks or seven weeks? I hope not.
I was a well pampered princess for the first two weeks. Waited on hand and foot by DH and visiting DD. The only thing I did was care for my bathroom needs. Week three I was alone but layed around and read, posted on hystersisters, absorbed some sunshine, walked daily, and did little house work. Week four started doing more
and got sore muscles because they reacted . They are doing better now. HDDR. released me at 30 days to do what I wanted, using common sence of course. I really have not had a lot of pain since I left the castle. Most of the soreness in the abdomen has gone. I feel like a diffrent person. Much healthier, with a better out look on life. I did not realize just how bad I felt or how bad my additude was, or how much I could not physically do because of the large fibroid I was carrying around. I can bend over and touch the floor, I could not do that three months ago. I have decided that not much is going to stop me now as forward I go (with caution) through the rest of my recovery and on into the years ahead.
Thanks to each and every one of you Hyster Sisters for your support, (HUGS) and all of the Prayers.
This site was a very big help to me both pre-op and post-op. I recomend it to all ladies battleing female problems.
THANKS AGAIN TO ONE AND ALL. I'm on my way to doing thing (slowy) that need my attention. Pampering the Grandchlidren, Flower gardening, house cleaning, discarding clothing that are way to big now.
I will check in from time to time.
BEST WISHES TO ALL FOR A HAPPIER, HEALTHIER YOU.

What Wall?

Well , Lolubu, sounds to me like you have been doing everything right and maybe you won't hit that wall. I didn't, I was one of the lucky ones, but I also did not much for 8 weeks. Best of luck and keep doing what you are doing , it must be right

What Wall?

Hi! My recovery has been like yours, uneventful after the first week, and I was released at four weeks, too. I'm back at work, half days, no pain, hardly any swelling, starting to really feel great!!! Maybe the warm weather is helping, too! I'm taking it slow and easy, getting those lazy muscles used to doing what they're supposed to do again...I was shocked when I walked my dog to the corner and back and the next day the muscles on the back of my legs hurt!!
Had DH home with me first 2 weeks, then sister came for a few days.....then I was alone and being as good as I could! I'm doing all the housework but the mopping and heavy vacumning, and can't wait to get out in the yard and plant some annuals in another week!
Good luck! It does get better, deosn't it!!!
