9 Weeks Postop and stitches coming out

I noticed that several stitches had come out this morning. This was after having sex with my dh. Shouldn't they have disolved by now? I am also having pain around the tailbone area.


TVH/BSO 2/20/01 for Adeno, Fibroids and Cysts on both ovaries

I believe it does take many months for the stitches to completely heal...but I think it would be worth a call and maybe even an appointment to your dr's office.

Agnew, I had my hyst 2 days after you and I have noticed some stitches this week as well. I am also having some stabbing pains on my right side. I put it down to overdoing things and not resting as much as I should because I am back to my usual crazy lifestyle!
