Supplements not to take during HRT

Awhile back, I ran across an article online about herbs/supplements/vitamins NOT to take while on HRT.....does anyone know where I could find this article, or something similar?

I'd like to know about whether or not to take Evening Primrose Oil, Pregnelone, or Vitex while on HRT?

I'm trying to find something that will stabalize my blood sugars-I'm averaging 2-3 hours of sleep a night because, after I take my HRT, my blood sugars go way out of whack and I can't sleep for low or high blood sugars.

I read that Evening Primrose Oil is a good one to stabalize blood sugar levels, as well as hormones-I'm desperate for sleep!

I've taken Vitex before and really liked it, but can't remember if I took it while on HRT, or if I took it before my surgery.

I have a bottle of Evening Primrose in my cabinet, but wanted to check before taking it-the bottle is almost full, so I must have stopped taking it for some reason...

I've taken Pregnelone before, but can't remember if it was a good or bad thing...

Moody,
I currently take Evening Primrose Oil and have used it for approximately six years now. I think it is okay to take with hrt. Here's an article about EPO Evening Primrose Oil

I've not heard of Vitex so I don't have info to share on that.

Here's a few threads about Pregnenolone:
Pregnenolone question
Pregnenolone and DHEA- why can't our bodies convert them?
PREGNENOLONE: anyone know much about it?

I don't know anything about Pregnenolone, just what I've read here. From what I've read it is a precursor hormone, so I'm not sure why you would want to use it if you're using hrt.

Thanks for the links Kim. Now that I think about it, I think the main reason I stopped taking it was that it broke my face out, since it's an oil. I'm willing to try it again though-I"ll try it tonight before bed. Thanks again.
