Is anyone else taking this and what differences have you noticed?

I am wondering if it is the fluid in me or the premarin that is making my skin and hair so soft! I feel like silk and quite frankly I am loving it!

It hasn't changed the appearance of my skin, only the feel. I guess you can't have everything!

I am now taking Premarin and haven't noticed any of that. So far though, I have actually been able to tollerate it. I couldn't take Estradiol as it was causing stomach and heart pain and I loved the Climara patch (I didn't have to remember a pill daily) but I was totally allergic to the adhesive. This one is a little work on my part (because I have to remember to take it) but so far, it hasn't caused a problem.

I started premarin 2 weeks after my TAH/BSO. I'm feeling very bloated and puffy. My weight has not changed I was hoping to loose some. I've got really swelly belly and cant wear any of my regular clothes that I was prior to surgery. Don't know if that is normal. I've got my post op on 4/7 and want to have some bloodwork done to see where I'm at.

Hi!

I've been on premarin .625 for about 8 weeks. I do like it, have only missed one day and had no real problems. I do think I need to have it upped a bit though as I am having hot flashes and stomach upset. I did have pain in my left collar bone area when I started it, and did find out that my mother had similar pains, and alot of test that showed nothing when she did premarin years before. It was short lived too, which was good.

I'd really like to know if the hot flashes will subside in time if I stay on this lower dose. I don't go in again until April 10th and hate to mess around with dosage until I go in and have blood tests run. I'm only 39-will be 40 in June and just am trying to figure out all the hormone replacement stuff.

Doll doc/Stacy tah-bso, cervical swelling, cysts on and in both ovaries and enlarged uterus attached to the bladder. Don't miss a thing- glad they are all gone!!!!!

I was on premarin and still should be on it. But I quit taking it due to the bloated feeling I am getting. I can't fit into my regular jeans. I am so swelled up in the belly. Anyone else?

The bloating is normal with the drug....I am strictly dieting again and hoping watching my weight and exercise will help a little as I had hoped to get off at least 70 more pounds. According to what I read at walgreens.com, you should also avoid sun exposure and grapefruit.

I started on Premarin 1.25 the day after my surgery So I have been on it for 4 days and I am having hot flashes and sweating alot. I don't know if it is normal or what. I guess my body is still in shock from the surgery.
