Bleeding After Intercourse???

I am almost 16 weeks post op. Had a TVH on Dec 8th, 05. I kept both ovaries. And I didn't experience a lot of pain or bleeding. BUT, now I am having some light bleeding after intercourse with my hubby. This has been going on since about 8 weeks post op when we tried for the 1st time post op. And it doesn't happen after each time just sometimes. Is there any one else out there going through this? And I moved in Jan from Arizona to Mississippi so I don't have my insurance coverage any longer so I haven't been to a doctor about this. Any reason's to why I would be doing this, or help would be greatly appreciated.

Chances are you have some granulation, a place that hasn't healed just right. Since it is continuing you will probably need to see a dr at some point to have it treated with silver nitrate. I can't be sure if this is it, but we do see it happen quite often.
I didn't have it happen, hopefully some will come along who have had this experience. I also hope you can get in to see someone soon. Let us know if you find out for sure.

preciouspearl, what exactly is granulation? I have called my doctor (today) and she was doing surgeries all day so I am to hear back from her tomorrow a.m. And I don't know if you know or not but IF that is what has happened, is the silver nitrate a doctor office visit, hospital out patient or something I would be admitted for? Thanks for your reply. Oh, and its a small world. My hubby and I almost moved to Billings, MT last summer.

hi girl...the silver nitrate can be applied right in the doc's office...fyi...just another fun time in the stirrups...lol...

nurse_sandy_lpn, thanks for the fyi on the doc's office. I hate hospitals and was hoping that it wouldn't come to that. Stirrups I can handle!

preciouspearl, thanks for the link. I read the article and it sounds exactly like what I have been doing. I'll be making me a doctor appt today to have it looked at.
