Post off vaginal bleeding

I had a TVH 1 week ago today. When I went to the bathroom I noticed some faded red discharge when wiping. It seems like my doctor told me that as the suture dissolves I may notice this as well as have some mild cramping. Has anyone else experienced this? Other than that I am fine. I was watching T.V. in the recliner proir to using the bathroom. I am pretty sure I didn't do anything.

when in doubt dont be afraid to ask your dr. I will be four weeks post op this thursday, and have just stopped spotting. as long as you are not soaking through pads, alittle bleeding and or spotting can be normal. I wish you well with your recovery,,, good luck

I don;t think its unusual to spot a little. I didn't start spotting and cramping until about two weeks after my surgery. I checked with my doctor and she thought that 1)I had overdone my activities a little (accounts for the bright red spotting) and 2) light brown spotting was exepcted. If you have any questions, check with your doctor.
