My 4 week check-up

Went for my 4 wk check-up yesterday. Wasn't sure what would happen. Had my list of questions. My doctor did check me. Said I was healing beautifully inside and out. I feel great . She said to continue doing what I have been, even though I'm doing so good. No lifting, bending or power walking, for 2 more weeks. At 6 weeks can start gradually exercing. She told me swelling could last up to 10 weeks. She also said you'll feel almost normal in the 5th and 6th week, but behave myself, when at the end of the day, I start to swell, rest. No sex til 7 th week. She doesn't see me back for 18 months unless I have a problem. I'm going on a cruise at my 10th week. Hope she's right about the swelling!!!!

Hi Cindy!

Glad to hear that you're healing well and feeling great! The next two weeks will be behind you soon. Get as much rest as you can until then. Don't rush the physical stuff. The cruise sounds wonderful!

My 4 week check-up

So glad for your great recovery. Keep up the good job.
I would like to warn you about the cruise. Make sure you take plenty of time to rest while on the cruise. Don't do any of the over active activities. You are still healing.
Hope you have a great time on the cruise. They are a blast!
