I was looking for something for vaginal dryness. One of the sisters from the post op board was talking about Replens. I was looking for something that I could already have applied. It sounds like this is the most like the natural thing... I was looking for no oder, taste etc. Boy, I don't want much do I??
Was just wondering if anyone has used it...
Thanks so much..
Donna I have not had to use any of the vaginal lubricants BUT I know when I was on the post op board alot Hostess music lady Linda told alot of ladies about a lubricant that has everything you wanted. The site also sends you a free sample (although it took awhile to get). Used it once to see if it worked and it did. No taste or smell either. I worried that I would need it so I checked it out. I did a search to try and find it but cant seem to pull it up. Let me see if I can get ahold of linda and I will get back to you.
i am the queen of dryness! i have felt like a rubber band ever since my surgery. i got to the point that i had to go get something, i found replens at my drug store.it is not messy,it has no odour, or anything gross ,or sticky.i have tried loads of creams ,i am the queen of creams! this really works ,this is my second time using this. i will let you know how it really works after a few times . try it and see.i hope it works for you, i hope it works for me ,i get alot of in fections , so i hope it works!
Is astroglide a topical ointment or something that you insert like replens???
what is up with that...lol... That sounds awful!!
OK.. I have to be honest here...I am looking for something that DH won't know that I am using...he is VERY understanding, but sometimes he can do the mind over matter thing...
Sorry, if I am getting too graphic here, but I know how we all love the sex topic !
I just am feeling a little inferior right now, and want things to be perfect...I am also worried about it affectiong oral sex.
OK...OK....I have said enough for one night... you are all great, thanks for the help....Keep it coming
Thanks so much for all of your replies....
Donna, Astroglide is very effective and would probably be undetectable if you applied one or two drops inside the vagina ahead of contact. If your DH ever has problems producing or maintaining an erection, be sure to remind him about mind over matter! Sue
I am having the same problem, and read that a vitamin E capsule, broken helps.I have not seen astroglide in the U.K.Keep posting girls, now I've resumed intimacy I need all the help I can get.By the way,I went to my doc as advised by Trish and he cut my oestrogen to 1mg which eased the breast problems.Love to you all
