What are the symptoms of a UTI?

I've noticed a lot of sisters get a UTI post hyst. I'm wondering how you know you have one?

What are the symptoms of a UTI?

my symptoms have been urgency, and pain. there is no mistaking the feeling. i could not stand the way i felt and HAD to have rx meds right away. lucky for me, i have had very few infections in my life and thank God i have not had one since my surgery.

What are the symptoms of a UTI?

Usually when I've had one it's been frequency, urgency and pain. Plus I always felt I had to go NOW but then there would only be like a trickle or something.
If you start experiencing any kind of symptoms that just don't seem normal for you I would go see your doc.

What are the symptoms of a UTI?

As with any infection, you'll know if you have a urinary tract infection. You'll be desperate to go but there'll be very little and it may be very painful and you might even see some blood in your urine or when you wipe.

If you're asking because you're not sure, the best thing you can do is ask your doctor.

What are the symptoms of a UTI?

I was just curious - I've had bladder infections before but never thought of them as UTI so I was wondering if they were different. I don't think I have one, but since they seem common I figured I could keep watch.

What are the symptoms of a UTI?

I developed one post-hyst but oddly didn't have the usual urgency or burning...what I did notice was that my urine looked cloudy and I knew that wasn't right.
