2 wk post-op check-up today

I had my visit today...the only thing I'm released to do is to drive. Big deal! lol I still can't cook, clean, pick up my children or do any other normal mom things. This STINKS!
Everything looks good though, they did take my blood because I felt close to passing out whenever I walked from the waiting room to the patient room. So she wanted to see if I'm anemic. We'll find out tomorrow I suppose. She did give me another scrip for pain, but the lesser dose.

I have to see her in 4 more weeks.

I don't see my urologist until the 14th I think so I don't know what he'll say.

Never fear, this shall pass! Another two weeks and you will be almost unstoppable. Well, you will at least be able to do a little more. Yes, this is a pain. But, you are in in for the long haul and you may as well enjoy the ride. ha I am looking forward to my 6 month check up. Time flies. Seriously, it gets better by the week and you're going to feel great and be able to resume your activities with time. From one "doer" to another, hang in there! I took on stationary projects, like learning to sew with a pattern (finally). Be good to yourself and don't push yourself too hard.

You did well on your check. I also had my two week yesterday but I didn't get the okay to drive
She said I could take tub baths now though (which I was sneaking and doing anyway). Glad to hear you are well. Drive some miles for me!

2 wk post-op check-up today

4 1/2 weeks and my advise is, if you haven't been given the go ahead to do things don't do them. If you are like most of us, we try and then pay for it. I know I learned the hard way. Even at my 3 week check up I was dizzy at the appt. The office was full and I had to stand up to wait and I could feel myself getting dizzy, I guess another woman noticed because she made me take her chair. I was severely anemic before my surgery so I'm still taking it easy and taking my iron. I hope that gets better soon, the lack of energy & exhaustion from the anemia and now the surgery has just wiped me out. Take care

2 wk post-op check-up today

Had my 2 weeks post-op, I'm only allowed to drive a little, no baths, no lifting more than 10lbs., can't do much. Still taking pain medicine, ibuprofen and percocet, just not haviang to take them as much as before. Walking a little, about 1000 steps yesterday.
Taking no HRT, but the hot flashes are getting me.
Feeling pretty good all in all.
Hugs to all
