Hole in the perineum!!

Well!! I had the nurse look at my vaginal/perineum incision site as I have been so sore and she said there was a little holethere in the skin!! No obvious sign of infection though, just a little hole.

Presumably this is where the discharge is coming from? Can anybody relate to this????

Hole in the perineum!!

Have you talked to your Dr. about it? It sounds like it is from inflammation from the healing process and it will close up over time once it heals and the inflammation has cleared. I had this in my belly button when I had a tubal and it finally closed up around 6/7 weeks post op. During that time I had a white discharge that my Dr. said was inflammation, no fever or infection. I did use Colloidal Silver on it and my Dr. had me put neosporin and bandage on it so it didn't get infected; however, consult with your Dr. ((HUGS))

Hole in the perineum!!

Yes, teresa, that is what I am thinking. As I passed a 3cm piece of thread the other day, there has obviously been some recent activity dispelling foreign bodies etc..And I have been so sore... The nurse said to give it another week then make an appt with the doctor if I am still not happy. Thanks so much for replying.
