Back to work in 2 weeks???

I'm finishing up my 4th week now. I started bleeding Sunday and everytime I walk more than from my bed to the kithchen I start again. Since I've been off my feet it normally happens everytime I go to the bathroom. I can't see going back to work like this. My belly is soooo sore and I still feel like a half empty gallon of milk. By this I mean if I move from the left side to the right or sit up from lying down, it feels like my remaining organs are sliding all around. Some days I have no pain and others I walk like I'm 102 yrs old. Everytime I go somewhere I end up having to hold my belly when I walk. I can't go to work like this!!

Back to work in 2 weeks???

I go back to work Monday, 8 instead of 12 hour shifts to start. I told my doctor the same thing about not feeling ready . He assures me that as I ease back into the normal routine, I'll be able to handle it, but if not to call him back and he'll give me more time. Some of my co-workers who have had the same surgery agreed. You'll be amazed at how quickly you turn the corner between the 5th and 6th week. Take it easy though and trust your body to tell you when you're doing too much. Good Luck and feel better soon

Back to work in 2 weeks???

Hi misstlc
I'm sorry you're not feeling better. I was a lot like that at 4 weeks. I think its a pretty good indication that you will not be ready to go to work in 2 weeks, especially if you are still bleeding now. Is it very heavy? It sounds like you need to just take it easy for a few days and see if this won't heal up.
I hope you feel better soon.
