Hysterectomy: January 29th, 1991
lowering the dose of premarin

I have been on the 0.625 dose since the day of my surgery in 1991. Total removal of everything.
I was wondering if anyone went to a lower dose with sucess.

Surgery Type: TAH
Ovaries: Removed both
lowering the dose of premarin


I haven't used Premarin, but I have successfully lowered my dose of hrt. I did so by cutting back gradually. I do use my hrt in a cream form so cutting back is easy to do. I would suggest that you discuss this with your doctor.
