Is amyone back in the before clothes yet?

I'm surprised that after 9 days after LSH, I can wear my clothes with no force at all. I'm actually losing weight too! I have lost the 14 lbs water weight I gained after surgery, and I lost 3 more lbs since then.
Iam not complaining, but this makes my DH think now I'm ready to climb a mountain.

Well that's great! Congratulations! Wish my clothes were fitting that well, but I'm 4 months post op and lots of things still feel too tight and uncomfortable around my belly.
P.S. Tell your DH that you are definitely NOT ready to do anything but heal for the next few weeks.

I have not tried my jeans on yet. I have been wearing flannel pj bottoms and a t-shirt. Today I got really dressed up, wearing yoga pants! I am pretty sure that I could get into my jeans, but I am also pretty sure that I would not be comfy in them. My hidden agenda is to not look too recovered, because my dh, 3 dd's and 2 ds's would think I was all better, and stop helping out as much as they have been.

Yes. I can wear my jeans but they aren't that comfy. I have some linen pants that are draw string though and I wear those mostly. I have some jammies that were too tight before and are now fitting perfectly. I have lost about 10 lbs. I just need to stop eating cruddy food so that I won't gain back!

I am 5 weeks post-op and still wearing sweats. I had mine done abdominally. My incision is still too tender. Hopefully soon....I am getting really tired of sweats. Best wishes.

I am at 11 days post op and get into my jeans but not for very long. They are uncomfortable. That's a deal breaker for me because I love to line dance and cannot go back to it until I can get into my jeans. I wish I was losing weight. I am however, not gaining any so thats good. Are you eating or drinking anything special to help with the weight loss?

some pants fit!

Hi sisters from April and May:
I'm a Feb 10th TAH and am now just fitting into my larger (ie first day of period) pants. I've lost only three pounds but the swelling is finally getting better and I can wear the same size pant all day. Before I swelled about 3 inches and things that fit in the morning didn't fit after work! I wore a lot of loose dresses to work for the first weeks back (which I rarely wear to work) for the sympathy look. "See, I just had surgery; don't overwork me!" I now have much more energy and know that is more important than my "belly bulge". The extra weight from the birth control pills I was on should come off this summer once I start gardening more.

I'm wearing the same clothes as before, and they are even a little loose on me!

No, I'm eating anything or drinking anything special, I'm just eating every 3 hours. Have you heard of the 3 Hour Diet that is put out by Jorge Cruise....the one that Al Roker lost 20 lbs on? I do that and I make sure I have protein with every meal and snack...but it has to be with carbs and fat..all together. I think it's working. It really helps my cravings.
