The 3 Hour Diet!

Well I decided to try this as soon as I got out of the hospital..it's been 10 days and I have lost 3 lbs but the best thing about it is..it comes from the tummy. Plus my moods swings and cravings are way down.

The 3 Hour Diet!

I saw something about that on tv a couple days ago. My sister tried something that sounds like that about 2 years ago. It worked well for her but she couldn't keep it up b/c of work and she said the fresh fruit was killing their grocery budget.

Hope it works for you!!!

The 3 Hour Diet!

I don't know what your sister was talking about the fruit...it just balanced eating..just make sure you're feeding your body every 3 hrs to keep the metabolism up. I haven't bought any fruit..it doesn't preach on that.

I found this article at webmd.com about it The 3-hour Diet

You can also do a google search, I used "three hour diet" and came up with lots of information.

I would advise all to be sure and check with their own doctor before starting a diet program shortly before surgery or early on post op.

The 3 Hour Diet!

If you really read that link, his 3 hr diet boils down to the bottom line, about 1200/calories a day, and he incorporates into that the known fact that you must not skip meals or eat late at night, So in my opinion its just another variation of the old tried and true concept of lower calories equals lower weight.. NOT rocket science.. But this Dr will undoubtedly make a fortune with his clever way of saying what we already knew!!
This is my own opinion, hope its not taken offensively. Linda

The 3 Hour Diet!

No offense taken..
I will say this though..he's not a doctor and I was doing WW..with the 1200 calories but in points..lost but a little bit.
Then when I incorporated eating every 3 hours..b/c I was snacking 1.5 hours after I would eat a meal..I lost..better with his! His concept is every 3 hours keep your metabolism going but not every 1.5 hours.
Not a fad and he lost weight himself doing it this way..there's pictures. I have the book and it's wonderful. I say don't knock something til you try it.
I have lost 22 lbs and swelly tummy...what swelly tummy?

The 3 Hour Diet!

Oh, I misread then, I thought he was a Dr..
I am willing to try anything once, I have done well with dieting by using low calorie and also low carb, but the sad part is Yep, It always comes back, guess its true you have to change the lifestyle..
Congrats on your success!!! Linda
