Biest - 40/60 or 80/20?

I was wondering what the difference is here? Why would you want to be on the 40/60 of Biest as opposed to the 80/20? I am using the 40/60, but wonder if I should be on the 80/20?

My bi-est is 50/50. I understand it's compounded many ways, and it seems most on hystersisters use 80/20. I do well on 50/50 ( .6mg/.6mg )

I was told by my pharmacist that estriol is the best estrogen for Breast, vaginal and bladder tissues... Estradiol is the weakest of the 3 estrogens.

If you're doing well on the 40/60 why would you want to switch? It shouldn't matter what I am using, hormones are not one size fits all. Just because I do well on a certain doseage, doesn't mean that it will work well for you. We have a saying here in the jungle "if it isn't broke, don't fix it."

When I started on bi-est, it was 80/20. Eventually it was changed to 40/60 (or was it 60/40? ). It can be made in whatever ratio your doctor and pharmacist think is best for your needs. I agree with (((Kim)))--if you're doing well on your current ratio, don't mess with a good thing.

I also want to correct a previous statement. Estradiol is the strongest estrogen (not weakest). Estriol is the weakest.
