Bladder infection at 9 weeks post op!

Hello ladies in hysterville
I had to go to my PCP yesterday because I felt a bladder infect. coming on since Monday. I got the urine test and it was positive. It's in the early stages so I thought I'd nip it in the bud.

I know it's kind of "normal" to have bladder infections after surgery, but at 9 weeks post op?? Granted, me and dh are trying to make up for 3 months of no nookie but I've always been very careful about going to the bathroom right afterwards.

So, I guess my question is -- is it normal to have a bladder infection this far post-op?

Sorry to hear about your Bladder Infection...and I do think its fairly normal. I actually think I'm getting one now, and its been 6 months since my hsyt.


I'm glad to hear that you've nipped it in the bud...maybe it will go away quickly I hope so.
